CS Gaz Metan Mediaş is a Romanian professional basketball club, based in Mediaş, Romania. The club competes in the Romanian Basketball Division A. The team promoted for the first time in Division A in 2004. The best place since then has been 2nd, in 2010.[1]
In the 2010/11 season, the club won the Romanian Cup.
